Goldilocks and the Police

The Year 6's have worked very hard on their drama this term.  This group adapted the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.   Not bad seeings as all the equipment used was brand new and the first time any of us had ever used i-movie :-)

Liturgy

On a Monday morning, Room 6 went inside the echoing hall to have a liturgy. When we all sat down inside the hall, we said the sign of the cross.

First we listened to Rick saying some information about ‘All Saint’s Day’. We then listened boringly to Timote and Justice saying some surprisingly short readings.

Before the liturgy was finished, we sang a tedious song that we messed up and we sang flat. Finally, we wearily walked outside the hall and carried on with our normal school routine.

Favourite Things

My favourite thing is games that include running like Tag, King-ball, Relay’s and Cross-country. I like these things because I love running around. Plus it gives you exercise to be able to run faster that any other person. That’s why my favourite type of games are Tag, King-ball, Relay’s and Cross-country.

Also my favourite food is sandwiches, because most sandwiches are very nutritious and healthy for you. My favourite type of sandwich is bacon and egg, because sandwiches like that are so yum. I have sandwiches every day for lunch. That’s why my favourite food is a sandwich that is nutritious and healthy.

Finally my favourite toy is a Transformer’s toy. It’s because it transforms from a car, plane, etc to a cross of a person that has a bunch of metal part’s glued to it’s body. Also it looks very amazing. So that’s why my favourite toy is a Transformer’s toy.

Crazy Dance Time

My Holiday

On a dark Tuesday night, I went in my mum's car to the National Airport. You see I was going to visit my dad in Wellington. First I got my luggage on the trolley and raced down to the receptionist that checked in the Unaccompanied Minor's (UM for short or UM NR).

Next I weighed my luggage on the strange looking scale that looked like a treadmill with no tread. Then I put my luggage onto the convert-belt, the luggage was going all the way to the aeroplane.

After that I zigzagged all the way to gate 16 but I stopped to gulp my Lift drink as fast as I could and waited for all the people to go inside the plane because I like to go last.

Sadly it was time to go to Wellington, and I had my final steps with my mum till it was time to get on the plane and fly to Wellington. I went to the very back of the plane and was the only UM and I liked it because it was awesome and I got lots of attention.

Soon the plane was on and U-turned to the runway and ...... WHOOSH!!!
Suddenly I felt as if I was a Frisbee tossed by another person's hand. Finally I felt the excitement flow from me as I saw Wellington. It was extremely amazing flying by myself on a plane.

The best Holiday ever.
