My Picasso Artwork

This is my Picasso Artwork. One side of my "face" (the yellow bit) is my fundamental side where I get math sums all over my face because I like the subject maths.

The other half of my "face" is (my normal side is) blue, because blue is my favourite colour and I try to be clean unlike my other face (the yellow side).

The writing below my face is "Caring" as I care of other people (like my friends, teachers and my parents).

Why are learning goals important

The reason why learning goals are important, is to increase our prior knowledge and makes people smart so that we will get smarter in things. Learning goals help you make your things in life, like learning more things.

Also learning goals are the same as goals so that you with be happy when you have completed it. These goals help will help learn more things and make yourself clever in the future. When your finished your goals, you will be stronger once you complete your goals and will be happy about it.

Learning goals will always be part of your life, you will have you complete them. Learning goals also will unlock your life dreams if you commit them to your everyday life. So learning goals are very important to you and others too.

My Faith Poem

If you have faith in God,
you’ll believe in him,
if you know the words,
just go and sing a hymn.

Once you go to church,
you’ll be right by his side,
just have faith in him
and he will be your guide.

Have some faith in God, just like Jesus did,
he will show the way,
when you are a kid.

I am Emmanuel

This is me...Emmanuel!

I am Unique and Talented (Talented in a strange way),
I wonder what will become of me when I’m 21,
I hear a person humming a catchy tune,
I see a minor image of a person talking,
I want a million dollars,
I am Unique and Talented.

I pretend to eat heaps of chicken chips,
I feel slow at running (just pretending),
I touch a big, furry rug that lies on my bed,
I worry about my Netbook falling,
I cry about my grandma staying by herself,
I am Unique and Talented (Talented in a strange way).

I understand that I have to go to school,
I say that I have to go to school,
I dream about watching TV all day,
I try to impress my Mum and Dad at school,
I hope I’m at the top of the class,
I am Unique and Talented (Talented in a strange way).

My Reflection in Maths at Room 8

During Maths Time at Room 8, I wrote some number 9 multiplication sentences (like 9x9=81) (which were very easy) in three easy steps.

Step 1. I immediately thought of my nine times tables.

Step 2. I did 9x9 which equals 81.

Step 3. I wrote down 81 in my book.

Soon I marked my work by myself and I got it all right.

Next I played maths games on the Netbook to improve my speed at calculating things which I enjoyed.

What is my explanation of sinking and floating

What is Floating?

If an object is floating, it stays about the surface of a liquid and does not fall beneath the surface of it. Rarely the object will float in the middle of the liquid and come back up to the surface and will not decrease or increase into the bottom of the surface. This is explained by the weight or size of the object.

What is Sinking?

If an object is sinking, it is decreasing slowly or rapidly through the surface of a liquid until it hits the bottom of something (like the bottom of a cup or fish bowl) or the displacement of the object to the liquid are equal.
